Pacemaker Implantation

The pacemaker is a device that traces the constant beats of the heart. The pacemaker implantation sends the electrical impulses that aid in the working of left and right ventricles.

Our doctors perform either CRT-D or CRT-P based upon the patient's problem. But before starting the implantation, our nurse uses both sedation and anesthesia to make the body relax. The doctor then follows up the procedure with an incision point in the chest area. The incision makes sure that pacemaker insertion takes place without any hindrance.

A few lead wires are transferred from the vein to the heart. The doctor connects these lead wires to the implanted pacemaker. The device gets fixed, followed by a tying up of the incision point.
